- Intellectual Property (IP): Any original creation, invention, or discovery that may be protected by law, including but not limited to research data, software tools, algorithms, models, methodologies, reports, publications, and other copyrighted materials developed by CMSR or its researchers.

- Licensee: The individual or organization granted a license to use CMSR's IP.
